Memo No:14/05
Distribution:All Age Referees – Junior Carss Park Teams – Assessors
Subject:Minutes silence – Darryl Hancock Carss Park FC
As a mark of respect and in memory of Darryl Hancock President, Carss Park Football Club who sadly and suddenly passed away during the week, there will be a minutes silence prior to the kick-off of all of the U17-All Ages grades and any junior grade team, involving a Carss Park team.
This will apply both Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th May, 2014.
Should other teams request to participate then this is also permitted.
Referees are to manage the process as follows:
 10minutes prior to each kick off, teams are to supply the correctly completed match sheets, correct match fee and RTO card to the referee. These administrative matters can be completed earlier if possible.
 As soon as possible after the administrative issues have been completed and at the direction of the referee, the teams and match officials assemble in the centre of the field.
 The referee will complete the coin toss and the equipment inspection.
 Teams will take a position around the centre circle and in the half of the field they will be defending. All players and officials will face the centre spot.
 The referee will indicate the commencement of the ‘minute silence’ ceremony.
 The referee will indicate the completion of the ‘minute silence’ ceremony.
 Teams will take their positions and the game will commence.
Referees please note that it is imperative that you communicate with the teams on the day to make sure the above procedures are followed and that there is no impact on the starting time of the game.
Vale Darryl Hancock, may he rest in peace.
