Weekend Wet Weather Update 14th & 15th of May
Dear Members,
Please be advised that all Natural TURF Fields in both the Georges River & Bayside Councils will remain closed this weekend for games and use, this will affect a number of our teams playing this weekend.
Any games that are scheduled to take place on Synthetic fields will still go ahead as planned.
Please ensure that you are checking Dribl and for the most up to date information on your games this weekend.
Grounds Closed for Training – 5Sports Field Allocation *Updated*
Dear Members,
As expected council have closed all grounds again so that they can dry out and recover from the weekend use.
To assist teams with training the club has been able to secure some playing time and courts at 5Sports for our Non Comp and junior teams. The below training times have been allocated for each age group, we ask that teams work together as some teams will be sharing a court. The idea is to run a small session for your team and then finish off by playing a game against each other.
Days and times are set for each age group:
Tuesday 6pm – 7pm : U6’s / U7’s – Court Number 8
Tuesday 6pm – 7pm: U12D’s – Court Number 7
Tuesday 7pm – 8pm: U8’s – Court Number 8
Wednesday 6pm – 7pm: U9’s – Court Number 9 (Training Court)
Wednesday 6pm – 7pm: U10’s – Court Number 7
Thursday 6pm – 7pm: U13’s – Court Number 7
Thursday 6pm – 7pm: U11 Boys & U12B’s – Court Number 9 (Training Court)

MiniRoos Coaching Certificate – 26th May
Carss Park FC and Football St George are pleased to offer our members the opportunity to complete a FREE MiniRoos COaching course to all participants. on Thursday 26th May 6:30pm – 8:30pm.
We strongly encourage all parents, coaches, managers and game leaders to attend this introductory course, which runs for 2 hours. The MiniRoos Certificate is designed for coaches/managers/volunteers involved with age groups Under 6 – Under 9, but is open to anyone interested in learning more about coaching! The course is focused on creating a SAFE, ENGAGING, ENJOYABLE and ORGANISED environment, to guide our children to fall in love with football.
Participants will learn:
How to set up fun games and activities
How to deliver games and activities
How to organise players / teams
How to modify activities to increase player enjoyment and engagement
How to approach game day
Match day rules of the various MiniRoos age groups
Please remember that this course is a practical course so please wear appropriate active attire as you may be involved in practical sessions.
