Carss Park Football Club extends an invitation to your club to participate in our 2011 GALA DAY for the Bi-Centennial Shield competition to be held on Sunday 24th July 2011 at Parkside Reserve, Parkside Drive, Kogarah Bay. In case of wet weather Sunday 31st July 2011 will be the reserve weekend.
This competition will be for nine year olds (players born after 1st January, 2002) of any grade and carries an entry fee of $ 150.00 per team. The competition will be conducted on a round-robin basis and each team is guaranteed at least THREE (3) GAMES as the teams will be divided into four (4) groups of four (4) (rules attached).
Teams will be accepted on a first-received basis, therefore entry forms and fees should be forwarded as soon as possible. Should your club have more than one team in this age group, you are welcome to enter them all. However, should sufficient entries be received from different clubs, only one team from each club will be accepted.
The final winning team members will each receive a trophy and the club will receive a championship trophy. The final runner-up team members will each receive a trophy also. All participants will receive a medal for participating.
Food, refreshments and espresso coffee, provided by the host club only, will be available at the grounds all day during the round-robin. No raffles or other fund raisers will be permitted apart from the host clubs raffle.
